Subject: Fight the Fight Club

Sorry I have been remiss posting my 'review' on 'Fight Club' (And Je Souhaite, for that matter, but I see cvl has leapt in on that one. Good!)

I really disliked Fight Club. There's a great word that 'posh' people like Hugh Grant's character in Four Weddings like to use: tosh. Simplistic rubbish. Not at all entertaining and really unimaginative. CC should be shot for this one! I must admit to the plot making no sense to me and no-one in it (save Mulder and Scully's presence!) made me want to see what happened next. I won't spoil the plot of 'Fight Club' the movie, for those who haven't seen it, but if this episode was meant to be a tribute to it - it failed on all counts.

I can honestly say that 'Fight Club' is the worst episode of S7 for me - in fact it is way down in the bottom five of all time. Makes 'Teso dos Bichos' seem like high art.

Finally, I must add a word of praise to the audience of X-Philes who acted their socks off, and included some of our X Philes World chums amongst their number! Well done guys! You did the best you could with the material at your disposal. None of my diatribe is aimed at you. :-)

I feel better for getting this one off my chest. Any FC supporters out there? And if so - why?????????
