Subject: Have Mulder call Krycek and we'll set something up!
In reply to: detoured 's message, "Why don't you and Krycek have Mulder and me over for dinner some time?" on 23:51:23 10/18/00 Wed

Remember in Duane Barry when Duane Barry told Mulder that the aliens talked to him without talking and Mulder called it brain scan? Maybe the men in the consortium talked to the aliens that way. But they did communicate with them somehow. That has certainly never been explained. But however they communicate with them, Krycek definitely is also communicating with them. There's no doubt in my mind.

Like I said before, it wouldn't surprise me if Krycek *is* playing both sides of the aliens. That would lead to the belief that he is out for himself...wouldn't it? He certainly doesn't have any loyalty to either side. But if you think about it, the consortium never had loyalty towards the grays, they just were trying to survive. They thought about siding with the rebels, but then changed their minds when they thought they wouldn't survive that. So I'd say Krycek is doing the same thing the consortium did, only he's more of a risk taker.

I haven't heard anything about if Krycek will be in a lot of the episodes this year, especially at the beginning of the season. I'm not sure if he'd really have a role in the early episodes, since he came in during Requiem, aided in Mulder's abduction, rubbed out CSM, and walked off into the sunset, hand in hand with Marita. I think since the focus is going to be on finding Mulder, Krycek could very feasibly disappear until the end of next season. Which would make me a very SAD person. I avoid spoilers like the plague, but I do go to NickLea.com a lot and I know that Nick has been filming two movies back to back in Canada, so he probably won't be in the first couple episodes :-(

You know who I really miss? The sunglasses smiley from the old Fox board B) It's not the same without him!
