I thought I heard ages ago that S did indeed give M her cross and can't it be seen around his neck in the abduction scene? I wonder if he gave her anything? I guess he wouldn't have had time to go and buy anything but he may have already had something put away for the right time. There may also have been something of his mother's that he could have given her. I say lets look closely at Scully next season and see if she is wearing a ring or bracelet or something. Also look for her in her off work time and see if she is wearing his Knicks [or whatever it is] t- shirt or something. Maybe CC will put in some subtle clues for us to pick up.

I have been thinking about Mulder telling Scully that her time with the X Files is over. He told her in the bed and then more blatantly in the hallway. He actually ordered her to stop on the grounds of his caring for her. I think he is starting to worry about losing her much more now that their relationship has become fully fledged. Both have now become the loved one of a cop...not a great situation to be in for anyone. Scully too is feeling the same way and I got this impression when she oh so casually asked Billy Miles if the missing deputy was married or single. Like she was thinking that something could happen to Mulder. I now don't think it is possoble for them to keep on with the dangerous work as both are starting to overtly worry about the other as now they have much more to lose.

I hope Scully doesn't move into M's apartment as I don't like it. Her's is so much nicer. I think when he comes back they should get a bigger place so the baby can have its own room.

I have also been wondering what mental state Mulder will be in when he comes back. Maybe he won't be able to handle work for a while. Maybe he will stay home with the kid while Scully works and perhaps her new driving force will be to find out what happened to Mulder and try to get him back to normal, even though we won't see much if any of him in following seasons.

I've gotten off the track here but I'd love some opinions
