Subject: So many things to wish for...
In reply to: detoured 's message, "Mulder's wishes" on 23:14:48 05/15/00 Mon

God, that would have been awful if Mulder got a broken, messed up Samantha returned to him. Or if Scully got Melissa/her father/Emily returned in Anson"s condition. Here˙s my question: when Mudler wished for world peace, did his fish disappear too?

"You don˙t remember disappearing off the face of the Earth for about an hour this morning"-- Scully must have known that this was in connection to some wish Mulder had made. Hee-hee.

I think the writing just kind of needed to get Mulder˙s first to wishes out of the way as quickly as possible. I don˙t think Mulder would actually have used his wishes for things that don˙t benefit him (or Scully, as above) directly. I don˙t think that this man with a Quest would overlook the opportunity to get what he wants. But this was a light-hearted ep, not intended to be serious. I˙m not really sure how I feel about that.
