Subject: A new theory on Scully's fertility

After rewatching "Requiem" last night, I now have a new theory on how Scully regained her fertlity. The theory is: she never actually lost it in the first place, she just thought she did!
We know that not *ALL* female abductees are left barren. How? Because Teresa (from "Pilot" and "Requiem") was an abductee and she had a baby!!
So my theory is as follows. . everytime a woman was abducted, some (BUT NOT ALL) of her ova were "harvested". So if a woman had multiple abductions, throughout her 20s and 30s, she was eventually left completely barren; this was apparently what happened to the women in "Momento Mori", most of whom spoke of multiple abductions and who all seemed to be older than Scully. If the abductions began shortly after puberty, as was apparently the case for Teresa, or if a woman had only one abduction, as was the case for Scully, she didn't lose all her ova and still retained her ability to conceive children.
I think Scully just kind of put together a couple of facts and came to the wrong conclusion. She knew she'd been abducted. She knew that *SOME* of her ova was missing. She knew that other women abductees had been unable to bear children, so she just assumed she was barren, as well. As far as we know, Scully never consulted a fertility specialist and, until just recently (i.e. "all things") she never really put her fertility to the test!
There is another "fact" that gives credence to this theory (if there are any guys reading this, be warned - I'm about to venture into some fairly detailed observations regarding the female reproductive system). Scully was abducted early in Season Two. She was, apparently, unaware of her "fertility problem" until late in Season Four. If she was completely barren, I would think she wouldn't have had periods during that time. Don't you think a woman would have noticed if she went for two-and-a-half years without having a period???
