...I wouldn't object if you had said that "it didn't work for YOU"...but to unequivacably state that "it's too bad it didn't work for HER"...that is implying a lot...and I think that is putting the onus on GA in error.

It is up to each one of us (individually) to decide if it "worked for us"...but we have no say in whether or not the creation of All Things will, or will not, ultimately work out for Gillian. Unfortunately, the critics will play some small part in that decision, too.

Personally, I loved the ep...for many, many reasons...and I don't think education has much to do with anything. Either a person has a story to tell (or a perspective to convey), or they don't. And if they do, then most likely, as I am sure both DD and GA did, they will get "expert" help to massage it into a GOOD story. (I think the differences in DD and GA's eps also have to do with "style"...they both have very different styles of writing and directing, just like their individual personalities exude)

You can BET that this story got the almighty approval of CC before it went out, so I don't think GA's "lack" of education hurt her very much.

Anyway, we can all "agree to disagree" as we so often do "in here" (the XF boards)...and live on to disagree another day!
