Subject: Hollywood A.D. Nitpicks (Sorry, I can't help it)

Hi Everyone,

Seems like nobody's posted yet about HAD, so I thought I'd write a quick one about the picking. I really liked the ep for the comical aspect, but the bombing subplot was left unanswered. The biggest question I have is, "Who was the dead man inside the crypt?" If it was Hoffman, then wouldn't somebody have noticed the corpse is missing once he resurrected himself.

And the other nitpick I got was from the span of 18 months. Let's say this ep is fairly real time, May 2000. That means Mulder and Scully first started the case back in November 1999. However, one big oversight is the fact that M+S were under AD Kersh's supervision for the first half of S6.

Another nitpick was how fast Federman wrote the script for TLB and was already filming the end scene by the time M+S showed up.

And yet another one was when M+S were discussing the case at the very end. The case was over 1.5 years ago and they're still talking about it now.

Well, that's enough for me. I really loved the episode and all the inside jokes. The dancing bones and zombies was a little too corny, but overall I'd have to say this was the funniest ep to date. I sure hope The X-Files comes back for another season. I need more of a grieving period than just 3 weeks. We'll find out soon enough. Later all.

AP Skinner
