Did anyone else see DD on "Who wants to strangle a Millionaire"? I hate that show but I forced myself to watch it to see how he did. DD reminds me a lot of my brother (the same slightly insecure, intellegent, good-looking, talented, smart-ass personality) so in a weird way I always like to see him ace these quiz shows. I still have "Jeopardy" on tape. Anyway I thought he did, okay (what with the "Fastest finger" and all). His television interviews have been more secure lately, too. But there is no denying that tendency to show off his education.

Also, I have a SPOILER from "Fight Club". A bit of dialog as a teaser on the Official Site Page made me go HHHMMMM!!!
I will have to see this in context because on paper it really looks like a confession to me. M&S are discussing a violent incident between two other agents and I quote:

MULDER: ...You might imagine I'm guessing past lives, unresolved, fate stalking them like an animal...

SCULLY: ...but you're not.

MULDER: The strange thing is, these particular agents had worked together for seven years without previous incident.

SCULLY: Seven years...?

MULDER: They were not romantically involved, if you're wondering.

SCULLY: Not even I'd be so farfetched.

who wants to say "Excuse me is it just farfetched in general or in a coincidental way", in other words is Mulder saying "Don't worry Scully the similarity to us ends at seven years, these two agents are not romantically involved." To which Scully replies "Well, DUH!"
