but I have seen the entire series--anybody fairly new to the show wouldn't have caught it. The landlord just "didn't get it" either. Love this subtle kind of humor and DD is absolutely great at it! Someone else said they have to keep rewinding the tape to catch his dialogue--I find I have to do the same thing also. I wonder how much ad-libbing he does??
