Subject: Daniel wasn't . . .
In reply to: kande 's message, "Ah, but if she'd chosen Daniel..." on 14:43:42 04/11/00 Tue

supposed to be her path I agree! I think he was a "turn in the road" for her to consider. Sometimes I think that whatever choice we make in life, it is a path that we then need to follow and do the best we can with it. Sometimes the paths make a full circle or hook back up to the main road. Maybe this is fate or destiny and that's how we can recognize it. I have found that for me anyhow, my purpose in life is not just a single event or thing--rather a combination and series of events which have led me to where I am today. I didn't always see that then, but in retrospect things are much clearer and I can see why things happened and why they were supposed to happen. I think that is what happened to Scully--she saw that when Daniel didn't bother to find her, they must have not been meant to be together.

Uffdah, sorry to be so philosophical--must be on a roll today!
