Hi Arcturus! I haven't seen you around in awhile. :-)

Some people believe that the stars in the sky are actually souls. From what I gather I think that's what Mulder was telling Scully he believed (or at least an idea he liked) after the diner scene. Sam was rescued by the walk ins to keep her from being further subjected to the tests being done by the govt/alien project. A pretty cool notion IMO. And also nice that Mulder saw how strong his sister was even at just 14, in her ability to escape.
