Subject: Behind the scenes account for the breakdown scene in SUZ

I mentioned this on the Mulder board but it ties in too
closely to the ep so I'm posting it here so as not to
spoil over there. This is off a spoiler site from someone
who was at the filming of the scene where Mulder breaks
down and cries in Scully's apartment.

And who says DD and GA arent' having fun!? ;-)

powerful. emotional. intense. The heart of the
show....Mulder and Scully.
It's the first take. They nail it. But, instead of Scully
squatting in front of Mulder, she ends up standing by the
end. She had knelt done, but when Mulder reaches for her,
he grabs her so intensely that he pulls her up to her
feet. I thought she was going into his lap when I first
saw it. Anyway, she is standing and his face is burried
in her bosom while she holds his back and head. She bends
and has her face buried in his neck. "Cut!' is yelled.
They hold position for a second. She giggles, "Ohhhhhhh."
(at his face position *g*). He reaches to the backs of
her thighs and starts to pull her over his shoulder. Fade
out.
He whacks her in the face one time while reaching for
her. They have a nice laugh over that.
Oftentimes, DD is holding GA's butt because of their
position.
