Yes, it was great fun to laugh with the XFiles again! And have it not turn out to be a dream or an alternate universe..Thank you Vince Gilligan! I think this episode is less about the MOTW than it is just Mulder and Scully on location with other COPS, so I can't even get hung-up on the vagueness of the monster, alto it's a pretty neat idea to have your fear kill you...this idea's been used before right? I guess that means the camera man following them around was as brave and unfearful as they were..

I had already wondered if CC gave the go-ahead for this *project* (hee hee) after rejecting it previously because of Blair Witch Project. Whatever - it worked for me! Everyone has mentioned the good scenes already. I particularly loved Mulder crashing again and again into the door that wouldn't budge!! LOL! *Just* like in real-life! The ending was really cool with Mulder commenting it would be as good as the editing would be, or something similiar, don't remember the actual words. Just a very nice parallel to real life, ie. a regular episode! Too cool.
