that he believed that the monsters *were* Ponce De Leon and his crew? That they found the fountain of youth and over hundreds of years had adapted perfectly to their surroundings? He says that to the male agent at the end who tells him he just wants to write off his hotel by calling it an X-file.

I remember wanting to see the mothman prophecies, because it was the same myth as in Detour, but then I heard it was absolutely awful.
