Do you think that in the beginning Mulder saw Scully as bookish and not all that attractive to ordinary men even though he, himself found her attractive? Did he think he was safe in that he didn't need to worry that any man would bother to "take her off him?"

Or

Do you think that Mulder did think Scully was very attractive and would be to other men but knew in his heart of hearts that she only had eyes for him and therefore knew that there was no way that she would ever go off with another man even from the beginning?

I think Mulder fell in love with Scully the moment he layed eyes on her and although she was fasciated by him and admired him she only grew to love him more recently. She has been more reserved in her feelings and even up until 'allthings' didn't entirely commit or admit to herself that she was wholely and solely in love with him. And still... I wonder.

This has me worried when Mulder returns in that I am dead sure that he is totally committed to Scully and knows his feelings for her but she has always been the reserved one and I wonder if she will not be as desperate for them to reunite when he gets back. He always seemed to 'need ' her more than she needs him.....the strong independent woman that she is. :-)
