Wow, Melissa and cvl. I would be scared stiff if those things happened to me. I would just die. [If you can't beat 'em, join 'em hee hee.]

My cousin's house is haunted. Various relatives have seen and heard things whilst staying there. Things like large heavy folding glass doors slamming on their own. Coldness in the cellar. Smoke up the hallway. Sounds of running up the hallway. Smokey apparitiony thing hovering over them in bed. Screams from the woods next to the house. [I use 'woods' here as it sounds better in a ghost story :-D] I spent Christmas Day 1987 at this house and didn't see anything. But my sister and I went to the toilet together as neither of us wanted to be in a room by ourselves. We didn't stay over night. My grandfather and his brother stayed and they slept in the same bed as neither of them wanted to sleep alone.My cousin isn't scared as she thinks it is her dead son but I don't think so. My other relos think it is a young woman. It was a girly scream. And she comes out when there alot of kids in the house making lots of noise.

My grandfather saw a ghost once while he was fishing. He was in the punt pulling in a net he had set between two islands. His dog was lying on the bow of the punt. My grandfather heard horse hooves galloping along the island. He saw a stockman on a horse galloping through the trees. The stockman gallopped straight off the end of the island and the sound suddenly stopped. The dog hadn't stirred so my grandfather scrabbled up his net and took off.

I never want to see a ghost or hear one . Good luck to you two with your resident ghosts. Keep me posted on any other developments. I'd love to hear more.
