I think that there was too *little* of what 'the fans' like, if anything, for it to be convincing. And the interaction between M & S was very cliched. Added to that, the XF was a bit of a strange one. The Stepford Wives meets The Creature From the Black Lagoon!

I like your list SMH, but I don't think you're allowed Tunguska *and* Terma as one episode. I'd stick to Tunguska if I were you... yum-Krycek!
