I have read the recents posts about homosexuality, public displays of affection in our schools and abortion. I have read them all thinking I must find the time to reply to these posts. First,I love GOD,I have been saved by his GRACE, I read the BIBLE and I am a happily married hetrosexual mother of four. So please whatever you think of my post keep those things in mind.

Public displays of affection among any two people regardless of gender should not be tolerated in our schools. I don't care who you are or whom you love, some things are better left unshared with your friends and neighbors. The notion that TV has some how caused these children to act out makes some sense to me. But we cannot blame all evils on the TV. We bring them into our homes, pay high rates for hundreds of channels, then watch sex sell everything from cars to soft drinks. Bottom line police what your children watch! Then more importantly if you know they have watched something they shouldn't explain why you feel it is wrong, ask for their input about what they saw and discuss the content. As parents we cannot pretend it doesn't exsist. Further,in my experience just saying that is wrong or is gross will not make them stop watching. In fact it might encourage it.

As we become exposed to more and more alternative lifestyles,I hope we will recall that GOD is love. He loves all of our children regardless of their sexuality. I beg the parents of Union County, please don't teach your children to hate anyone. I was born what is called straight, I feel blessed. I am able to live in a wedded relationship with the man I love. My children have a normal two parent relationship, again they feel blessed. I can freely proclaim my love for him in public, on this board and to my friends and family. Imagine if you can that I were born diffrently, and had these same feelings about the same sex. Many of you might be outraged or grossed out. But, my feelings would still be real to me, the love I felt would be the same and unless I were really brave I would never be able to announce that publically. It would be really sad.If we judge the actions of others and call them sin, are we not also sinning? Many will claim if we tolerate we are endorsing it. Okay, we already tolerate alcohol sales, gambling, divorce without reason, adultery, the use of GOD's name in vain and I could go on and on. GOD gave us free will; choose as you will and pray for one another. Attacking one another will never solve anything.
