I know that this is going on, but what can we do about it? It is stressed to the students that there is to be no contact between them of any kind, but we can't stop who they talk to on the phone, who they write their love letters to, or what they do outside of school. I work in the school system and would like an answer to this problem as well. In attaining a solution, I do not want a lawsuit brought against me because I offended a student due to his/her sexuality. There are so many laws that one can get caught up in, no one is willing to risk their job for something that parents should be teaching their children to begin with. Also, in dealing with this problem....remember, we cannot use religion to stress man/woman relationships as there are laws against teachers discussing religion as well.
