Subject: pay for ballgame????

I was really shocked when i took my child to a softball game at Luttrell school this evening.There were 2 ladies(mothers of a ball players) taking money up as you pull in the parking lot.I have been to other ballgames and this is the only one who stands to take money.When asked why ,i was told Ms Saylor told them to???Does Maynardvill,BigRidge,SharpsChapel do this?i have never seen this done at a softball or baseball game
