Subject: Ryva: Café Mort

Café Mort is a nice little coffeehouse on a tree-lined street. Even walking by, the smell of coffee wafts out into the street; so inside, the scent is very strong. In the window sits a couch, a rather large, overstuffed chair, and a coffee table littered with magazines, many of them issues of the local Counterchange. The floor is tiled in black and white checks, and kept very clean. As you stand in the doorway, a row of booths is on the wall to your right, the counter is to your left, and straight in front of you is a row of mismatched tables and chairs. Trivia cards are in little baskets on most of the tables. Beyond the tables, against the back wall, is a small stage, currently empty; quiet jazz floats through the room, instead. Framed paintings hang on all the walls, and, hung on the wall between the counter and the window seating area, is a bulletin board. Many newspaper clippings, photos, notices, memos, and ads are pinned to the board. Sitting on the stool closest to you is Green Wombat, resident cat. He gazes through you rather than at you, and eventually jumps to the floor, wandering away. Minying, owner and operator of Café Mort, stands behind the counter; she looks up from her conversation with another patron and smiles brightly at you as you walk in. "Have a seat. What can I get you?"

((OOC: It is 4:10am, and, well, I apologize if this is pathetic;) I'll write a more detailed description and draw floorplans sometime and put them on the site... right now, I must sleep.))
