One of the great things about TXF is the fact that not everything is answered. If everything were answered, these message boards certainly wouldn't be necessary, right?

People like to think. Well, some people like to think. And science fiction draws intelligent people to it because it makes people think. That's what makes it popular.

I enjoy not having all the answers, but every now and then it gets frustrating. One qualm I have with TXF is the fact that SO many things go unanswered for so long. It's good to speculate, but it's also good to wrap things up every now and then. TXF fails at that sometimes.

I guess, overall, unanswered questions and room for speculations builds a fanbase, but if you never give ANY answers, the fan base will begin to dwindle out of frustration.
