I'd like to see Tara Scully, Bill Junior's wife, again. I don't think she counts as a "recurring character", since the only time we've ever seen her is in the two-part "Christmas Carol/Emily" eps.
Scully seems pitifully short on female confidants her own age. The few she seemed to have in early eps — her sister Melissa, her friend Kelly on the Richmond Police Force (shown in "Soft Light") her college friend Jackie ("Jersey Devil") — have all been killed off or simply haven't been shown in years.
Yes, Scully seems to have a close, warm relationship with her mother, which is a nice thing. But there are some things a woman just can't tell her mother! Tara wasn't really develped much as a character; she was kind of kept in Bill Junior's shadow. I'd like to see an ep where Tara and Dana could get together *WITHOUT* Bill Junior around.
