What I liked about Stonecypher was that she and her partner were so NORMAL, even agressively so...

They were sunny, well-adjusted, played well with others and undoubtedly never run with scissors.

They probably do something like mail fraud or embezzlement - something serious, but rarely any dead bodies - and they do it well and don't lose any sleep over it.

Their contrast with our poster children for "troubled" was pretty funny.

I always find it interesting when the "real" - or what passes for "real" - world intrudes on TXF and M&S encounter sane, rational people that you'd meet in real life and their reaction to M&S is "Wow! Whatta pair of freaks!" It makes you realize just how paranoid, etc. they are to those not in TXF world.

I sincerely hope that they are not planning to bring on Reyes for Season 9, etc. that has been planned by Fox. I really don't think I could stand to watch it with her. And it is nothing to do with my shipperhood. She is just a horribly conceived and executed character with nothing of interest going on. The author of the great fanfic "Down the Drain" noted that she thought that Reyes' grossly insensitive behavior all around was not due to some clueless and misplaced New-Agey "openness", but rather due to a calculated and deliberate attempt to wound people.

I think she may be on to something there.

Has anyone heard any feedback about Reyes elsewhere?
