...have only been watching for a few seasons because they were only seven years old when the series started!

The Friday time slot was a reason I didn't watch TXF for a long time. When it came out I was in...hmmm (doing some quick math in my head)...in tenth grade. 15 going on 16. So needless to say it was not cool to be at home on Friday night watching television! I remember dating a guy my senior year who loved the show (it was on Sundays by then, I think) and I used to tease him that I was too cool to watch it when it started cause I always went out on Friday nights while he was sitting at home. By then I didn't want to start watching it cause it didn't seem like the kind of show one can just jump into and know what's going on (I tried that with Buffy a few years ago and was so confused that I turned the episode off halfway through and haven't attempted since).

Watching the show now, though, I can't ever imagine not watching it. My roommate never watches it, and on one occasion he sat down with me and he kept getting confused as to which one was Mulder and which one was Scully.

Definitely the first time I saw Krycek was when Marita Covarrubias was talking to him in Russia. It wasn't until later that I was treated to the pleasure that is the Mulder/Krycek interaction. I didn't really understand the plotline upon first viewing, but I definitely knew that Krycek was very pretty :)
