Subject: What could Krycek be admiring?

I personally think that Krycek is working for the greater good. That's no spoiler, here in S7 we still have no idea what Krycek is up to. I know a lot of people would disagree with that assessment, would say that he is only working for personal interest. I agree with that as well. I mean, I believe that Krycek is working for the greater good because it is in his own personal interests. What good is it to him if the planet is colonized by aliens and he is made to be a slave? Of course, given that arguement one could say that everyone in the entire show is working for the greater good, just that CSM and Krycek and crew aren't above saving their own asses if that's the only choice they're given.

Ok, so that totally hasn't answered the question of what Krycek looks up to, but I thought it was nice insight :-) As for what Krycek looks up to, that goes back to my parallel life theory. Krycek and Mulder are foil characters, and I believe that when Krycek looks at Mulder he sees what his life could have been like if only there had been a few changes in decisions he made in the past, or just different circumstances given his family life or other things out of his control. So it's not so much that Krycek looks up to Mulder but more that he sees what he could have been, if that makes any sense. Given that Krycek has some kind of undescribable connection to Mulder. Maybe he doesn't even understand it himself. I think that Mulder would feel it as well if he didn't hate Krycek so much. Not that I'm saying he shouldn't hate Krycek, because he has plenty reason to. But Krycek has no reason to hate Mulder, therefore he's not clouded by that and can see how similiar they really are. Am I making sense or am I just babbling??
