I'd like to see M&S just happen to bump into him, casually, and he have a wife, child, dog. . .the whole "normal life" Scully claims to want. Then I'd like to see Mulder get kind of depressed, feeling like "Geez, that's the kind of life Scully wants, the kind she could have had, and I've deprived her of it." THEN I'd like to see Scully reaffirm that if she had it to do all over again, she'd make the same choice; that the life she shares with Mulder, simply because it *IS* shared with him, is the one she really wants after all.
