when people (mostly men, although it seems that more women have been accused of it lately) deliberately initiate a sexual relationship with a child they know is underage -- as one certainly would know about a relative or a student in one's school -- it's all about power, domination and control. They don't want, or incapable of having, a relationship with another adult, because that involves compromise.
