Light laughter escaping her as she watches him jump, she gives a smile of apology. "Sorry if I startled you." Dispite the fact she had begun getting used to his flattering flow of compliments she could not help the mild blush that swept her cheeks. "Thank you.." Fidigty hands clasp over her lap to be kept still, gaze dropping to the dancing flames. Idly she extends bare feet, expression turning thoughtful as she muses aloud. "I left my sandals at the Cove. Honestly, I do lose more shoes that way..! Ah well, 'tis life."
