Forensic pathology, I seem to recall from my X-Files book. And, take it from me, she is a sharp cookie!

She must have remembered a lot from med school, as she indeed knows a lot about a lot, even from outside her speciality. Wish I were half that sharp!

I'm sure she keeps up with Continuing Medical Education (journals, conferences, tapes, whatever) as she seems to know the newest about the newest. And her education is at least 7 or 9 years old! (Sigh--the work involved with being a 35-year old doc!)

But what amazes me is how she got through High School, 3 or 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, 3 or 4 years of Pathology training (probably after a years' general internship), and specialty Forensics training (?2 years), all by the ripe old age of 25 or 26 (when she started teaching Forensic Path at Quantico).

And apparently she did it all while applying at least a half-hour's worth of makeup each day and blowing her hair dry, too!

Any ideas?
