Subject: Clyde Bruckman

This is one of my all-time favorites. We get to see Scully not believing Bruckman, but still wanting to know how she dies. And the response: "You don't." That has been the foundation for many other Scully-related eps.

This ep also has one of my favorite lines: "I can't think of a more undignified way to go than by autoerotic asphyxiation." I don't know how many times I've watched this ep, but that line, and Mulder's reaction, still crack me up. I've always thought that DD is at his best in the funny shows.

Of course, any ep that has Scully saving Mulder's scrawny butt gets a thumbs up in my book. I love that she got on the service elevator by mistake. How many things had to happen in order for her to get on that elevator at that time, and appear in the kitchen in time to save Mulder?

Queequeg! I love that Scully gets a pet. The look on her face when she's opening the note from Bruckman! She's kind of turning her back to Mulder so he can't read the note. It's subtle stuff like that which convey so much that makes GA a great actress.
