I took it as a sign but not quite that literally. I mean CC said the ending of "all things" would be important but maybe he meant that line rather than the implied night spent at Mulder's place. After all at the END of "all things",Scully is firmly on the couch. So since David Crosby's babies (Melissa Ethridge's anyway) have to be artificially implanted the suggestion there is that Scully's baby was artificially concieved.
