as time passed in the series, Scully world grew more like Mulder's. In the early seasons, we did see a bit of her having a more "normal" life than he did. . .she had friends, was more involved with her family, etc.
By the time of the "Dreamland" eps, early in Season 6, I think we were supposed to realize — both from her comments and from the fact that we hadn't seen any of those little scenes we used to see with her family and friends for several years — that she had become just as obsessed as he had with the search for "the truth".
