He puts on a sick look. "But mom, that's for grownups! Mushy stuff."
Nudging him to stand by the other two foals, she smiles mischievously at him. "And there will be fillies there...."
"No mom," he corrects her patiently, "Fillies ain't bad unless you go into that mushy stuff...." Suddenly he's horrified.
"Aren't." She corrects him in turn.
"Mommy...! We can't go there!"
"And why not? Sophie's a filly, isn't she?"
Looking decidedly uncomfortable he hangs his head. "Yeah...but she's different."
