"Hey there, fella! Careful, you might knock me over." Darey looks over, his eyes kind if very tired. He gives the colt a nudge and snorts softly. "It's a really long story, little guy. I was wandering a bit far, and some humans saw me, thinking I was an escapee from their little train of horses. They roped me in and took me with them, and I wasn't fed right for quite awhile. They couldn't ride me, or really do anything with me, see. So they just kept me in a stall for weeks on end. Finally, I got my break when another horse unlatched all the stall doors, and I ran. No food, no water for a good while, Bambi m'boy. And then, I showed up back here, and this is how you see me." He finishes tiredly, before looking at the gray filly. "And who, may I ask, are you? You must have come when I was gone."
