"Are you going to sulk? Let another stallion claim her?" The dark mare whispers inquiringly to the sleeping form. "Is that forever how you're going to live your life? Alone? Scared of how others see you? Not willing to take the chance?"
Forgetting that Dare Devil probably wouldn't answer her questions in his dormant state, she continues. "You know of someone who did that, yes, my father and your uncle. Now look where he is, trapped in his own fear, not knowing who to turn to, terribly alone. Is that how you want to live your life, Dare Devil, the way Malussinn does? Are you going to let the one you love slip from your grasp? You know you deserve her, and she deserves you. And yet you insist on seeing only her appearance, not diving deeper into emotions, hers and yours."
She shakes her head slowly. "Oh Dare Devil, you don't know the mistake your making by letting her leave. She will not be the one to ask you, you must ask her. Prove yourself, Dare Devil, we know that you can do it."
A moment more she stands, looking down at him, galloping through her countless thoughts of sadness and frustration, and happiness and hope.
