The North. Frozen, bleak, and flickering with a blaze of life. The animals here must struggle to survive, relying on thick warm coats or layers of blubber to insulate them from the cold. The ice dances with cavorting seals and orcas slide through the waters with deadly ease. On the ice, lone polar bears prowl in search of food or on their own affairs. Wolves sing to the Northern Lights and owls fly in ghostly streaks of white silence through the night. Humans must trap and hunt their meat and furs to stay warm or perish.

And through it all, above it all, the lights in the sky stay steadfast. Twining through the sky in a play of tantalzing colors, they beckon to any brave enough to make the journey. As the cold chills through the broad sky, the promise of a song rains down from the phenomenon above. Can you handle the fearsome cold and shocking plunges that the Arctic promises? Raw survival, no good, no evil, just survival and the struggle for warmth under the dancing Aurora Borealis.
