When she did emerge, it was with the arm of an excitable girlfriend around her shoulders - chatting away about one thing or another - and a guy at her side. She played the student part quite well - it just seemed to suit her, and she truly looked like any other young adult just out to further her education. One would never guess all the pain and heartbreak she had experienced and gone through with him throughout the past few years. It was a good feeling to be a part of something normal. But still, the moment that her eyes lit on him - as distracted as she was, her attention always seemed to be attracted immediately to him, whether or not she even knew he was around - and she said some hurried goodbyes before hopping down the final steps to him. A sweet smile softening her features, a hand touched his arm and she reached up to kiss his cheek - she had meant for the gesture to be quick and friendly, but, as was becoming routine, her lips lingered down his jaw much more intimately, and when she started to speak she was still near his ear, her breath warm. "Waitin' for me?"

He smiled lightly, even before she noticed him his eyes had been on her - just admiring the way she did fit in so well and also sizing up the guy next to her. A hand wrapped almost possesively around her hip as he tugged her closer to kiss her cheek in return, noddiing briefly. "Yeah...was thinking maybe you could use some company between classes..." He grinned almost sheepishly as he looked down at her, his opposite, unoccupied hand raising to brush back her hair from her face - it was windy outside.
