He was laughing by the time the dog finally spotted him and bounded over to say hello - that was what he loved most about dogs was that they were always happy to see someone they loved, never mind anything else. Uncaring that the dog was dirty and his jeans and shirt were clean, he ruffled the dogs ears and noisily kissed the top of her squirming head as he shifted back on the bench so that she could wriggle her way up onto his lap. She was definitely too big to be a lap dog these days, but no one had ever told her that and she just didn't understand - and he wasn't going to be the one to crush her dreams. Once she had calmed a little, he just leaned back and turned his gaze to Keila with a small grin, his fingers tangled in the dog's soft, wild, golden coat. "She's been tamed." His tone was teasing and his eyes bright - the dog had always been a constant source of amusement and she was a nice icebreaker now. He wasn't keen on waving goodbye and saying 'see you around' - though he wasn't too sure how keen she was on keeping his company that afternoon. He knew she probably still had some hard feelings towards him and he kind of deserved it, but he thought, given the situation, things had ended as well as they could have - didn't really make things better, but maybe slightly less bad. "I brought your stuff out..."
