He actually felt his cheeks warm a bit when she laughed - he didn't know why he was so embarrassed that he had asked, but he was, maybe because it seemed like such a juvenile inquiry. At her explanation of the things that she had been doing, he nodded a bit - happy to move on in the conversation and forget that he had blurted that out. "Fair enough... Impressive that you got it all done, though." He had every faith in her drive and determination though and wasn't actually that surprised to hear that she had actually finished ahead of schedule. If he hadn't been so determined to get a career and start making money so that he could do the things that he loved - writing, reading, studying, traveling, all for himself - he definitely would have been one of those kids who procrastinated and went to school part-time and took forever just to get his first degree. He laughed at the thought of her learning to play the drums and the reactions that her neighbors would have had and shook his head a bit, his tone playful. "You need those 'electric drums', you know? Just plug in headphones and you can pound away till your heart's content without terrorizing the poor neighbors... Though I'm sure you weren't that bad." He added on quickly, but from his impish expression it was pretty obvious that he had no trouble imagining her being 'that bad'. At her last question, he answered without really hesitating because he knew the answer just that easily. "Florence. I planned on like ten days there and ended up staying for almost eight weeks. You would have loved it..." He had seen a lot of amazing places, but Florence had been his favorite just to be there. If he was rich and famous and had his own jet, he would buy a vacation home there.
