Subject: An X-Filey ep of "Castle"

Last night's ep of "Castle" was very much in the mood of "The X-Files" and very open about it. Rick Castle kept whistling the XF theme and at the case was about a woman astrophysicist whose death didn't seem explainable. At one point Rick even told Kate Beckett, "I'm not asking you to dye your hair red and call me Mulder. I just want you to keep your mind open to extreme possibilities."

Lyle Lovett guest starred as a Man in Black (he did not bring his large band). It was kind of like an XF ep where Scully was right and the crime really did have a logical explanation.
