Subject: This week's "NCIS" ep (spoilers)

This week's "NCIS" ep had one of those situations where a woman goes into labor and then *IMMEDIATELY* has the baby (i.e. within less than an hour) no matter where she is (in this case, in an abandonded services station, surrounded by NCIS agents who were engaged in a standoff with bad guys).

As a woman who has given birth three times, and who was in labor for anywhere from 8 to 18 hours each time, I reacted by yelling out "It's not that easy!" and "It takes a LOT longer than that" at the TV.

Honestly, if all giving birth involved was saying "Oh, I'm in labor" and then popping out a kid 15 minutes later. . .I think you'd see a lot more "big" families around.
