Subject: "Person of Interest" questions (vague spoilers for 1/19 ep)


Is that young guy who was calling Finch "Uncle Harold" his actual nephew? Or is Finch just kind of like a family friend/godfather or something like that? And does the young guy own half of the machine? It seems like Finch and Nathan (the guy's father) created the machine together.
And doesn't Finch know Lionel (the corrupt detective)? So won't he notice that Lionel is following him?
