Yeah, I don't feel like we're strangers, either! I consider all of you here my friends. The fact that none of us have ever met in real life (well, I've never met any of you; maybe some of you have met one another?)doesn't change that.

It's funny how some shows seem more dated than others from the same era. As most of you here know, I'm a big fan of comedy/mystery/romance TV shows from the 1980s, the main two being "Remington Steele" and "Moonlighting".

When rewatching "RS" in the 21st century, it really doesn't come across as terribly dated. Maybe because a lot of the cases (and a lot of Remington's behavior) were patterned on old movies of the 1940s and 50s?

"Moonlighting", on the other hand, had a lot of comments and situation involving 80s trends and they just seem silly (or incomprehensible) nowadays.
