While it was certainly no XF, QL has the distinction of being one of the *VERY* few shows that was able to hold my attention over several seasons, despite having no hint of romance between the main characters. Considering the main characters were two men and a computer, I guess that's a good thing!
Actually, the show had a lovely underlying theme about true love. My favorite episode was the one where Sam leaped back into his own life and Al leaped into the life of a soldier who just returned from World War II. In that ep, Sam found out that during his various leaps he'd managed to "fix" his own life and was now married to the only woman he'd ever really loved. And, in the series finale, even though Sam was lost forever Al had the life he wanted. . .instead of being childless and multi-divorced, he was still married to the his first wife and the father of four.
