The story is about 4400 people who were abducted and then suddenly returned to earth. The first was an eight year old girl who was taken in the late 30's. She has the ability to forsee a person's future. So far, the other people have also been returned with a special "gift" or talent that they didn't have prior to being taken.

If the show continues with what they did on Sunday, we might be seeing a number of different stories plus returns to the original story which is about how the lead male's son is still in a coma. This kid was rejected while his cousin was taken and his parents are separated because the father is driven to be with his son and has to find out what happened.

The other main character is a woman who reminds me a little of Scully but she is more open minded while her male counterpart is a little skeptical but does believe that these folks were abducted. While not the XFiles, it has the same structure. There seems to be stand-alone stories/episodes but they are also a result of the abduction storyline.

I'm surprised it's not on Scifi but it's on USA Sunday nights at 8:00, Central DST. I plan on watching!
