Yes, the young doc is McCabe. I agree that he's a cutie. That's Christopher Gorham, who played the lead on the shortlived but critically-acclaimed "Jake 2.0" last year. IMHO, the show would be better if McCabe was the main character and it focused on his first few months as member of the NIH team.
