Well, they get a LOT more time to work on stories (as in days, instead of hours) and they get away with arguing with their editor a lot more than has ever been permitted at any newspaper where my husband and I have ever worked!

It's also weird that Lois and Clark operate as a reporting "team". I've never had a "partner" at any newspaper where I've every worked as a reporter. Every great once in a while, if there's a big story with multiple angles to it, the paper will assign more than one reporter to it. But, generally speaking, we each work on our own stories.

Also, they seem to have champagne a lot at The Daily Planet! I've never seen champagne served in a newsroom,
