I remember when they would show the series with him-I think on PBS?--years ago.

I didn't know that about the Doctors, BDM. I just thought they kept changing actors because the current actor didn't want to do it anymore. I think Tom Baker was on a longer period of time, wasn't he? Now they seem to change them every year.

I guess it would be hard to keep getting used to a new lead actor so often. Most continuing series rely heavy on the familiarity of characters.
But at least they have a plausible reason for the changes. I saw a picture of the latest Doctor. He looks pretty cool!
I used to read Starlog magazine (is that still around?) and they'd have pictures of all the different Doctors. A couple of them were a good deal older, weren't they?
