Oddly enough, shows that are spin-offs from other shows seem to *mostly* be immune to my "kiss of death"! The only two shows I currently watch on a regular basis are "NCIS", which is a spinoff of "JAG" and "CSI:NY" which is, of course, the third show in the CSI franchise. I began watching both of them during their first season and they've lasted.
But simply being a spinoff of a successful show does not *guarantee* that I will not kill off a show by watching it in the first season. . .I watched "The Lone Gunmen" and we know what happened to that!
I watched one ep of "Raines" and killed that for you, det! (Although I would like to point out that you *told* me to watch it.) And I've started watching that new show "Travelers" (seem my thread elsewhere in this forum) so anybody who wants to catch that one might want to make it quick!
